Ingredients needed to make Asian chili  chicken recipe

  • 3 chicken breasts ( skinless & boneless ).
  • 2 teaspoons of ginger garlic paste.
  • 1 small cup of soya sauce.
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch.
  • 1 ½ teaspoon chili flakes.
  • ½ tablespoon honey.
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil.
  • Salt ( as required ).
  • Water ( as required ).
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice ( for marination ).
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper powder.
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds ( for garnish ).
  • ½ cup chopped spring onion.

The process of making an Asian chili chicken recipe

  • Firstly take chicken breast in a large bowl and add 2 to 3 teaspoons of soya sauce, lemon juice, black pepper powder, and salt ( as required ) mix all the ingredients and rub the ingredients into the chicken breast for 2 minutes and then cover the lid and keep it aside for 1 to 2 hours for marination.
  • Now take one small bowl and add cornstarch and water ( as required ) and mix it well until it turns into a smooth mixture ( cornstarch slurry )  and keep it aside.
  • After that take another bowl and add soya sauce,  ginger garlic paste, chili flakes, and honey mix it well, and then add cornstarch slurry into it and mix again and combine all the ingredients well.
  • Now heat the pan on medium flame and add sesame oil in it once the oil is getting hot then add chicken breast and cook both sides of chicken breast for 5 to 6 minutes each side and cook the chicken until it is fully cooked and turns golden brown in color.
  • Then remove the fully cooked chicken to a plate and in the same pan add soya sauce and cornstarch slurry mixture cook it on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes and stir in between while cooking the sauce.
  • Now add cooked chicken breast and mix it well switch off the flame and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped spring onion and serve it.
