Ingredients needed to make lahori chicken
- 250 grams medium-size chicken breast pieces.
- ½ cup onion paste.
- 1 cup tomato puree.
- 1 cup whisked curd.
- 2 teaspoon ginger garlic paste.
- 1 ½ teaspoon red chili powder.
- ½ teaspoon turmeric powder.
- 2 teaspoon garam masala powder.
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder.
- 1 ½ teaspoon lemon juice.
- 1 tablespoon fresh coriander ( finely chopped ).
- 2 tablespoons oil.
- Salt ( as per taste ).
The process to make lahori chicken
- Firstly take one pan and heat it on medium flame and add 2 tablespoons of oil, once the oil gets hot then add chicken pieces and cook it until it turns golden brown in color or cook for 6 to 7 minutes.
- After that low the gas flame and remove the cooked chicken into the plate.
- Now again make a medium gas flame and add onion paste and ginger garlic paste and cook it for 2 to 3 minutes then after that add tomato puree and again cook it for 3 to 4 minutes.
- Now add red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, coriander powder and mix it.
- Then add whisked curd and mix it properly then add cooked chicken into it mix it well again and then add salt ( as per taste ) and lemon juice again mix it well cover the lid and cook the recipe for 8 to 10 minutes on medium flame but check the chicken in between.
- After 8 to 10 minutes switch off the gas flame, and your tangy and tasty lahori chicken is ready to serve.
- Remove it in a serving bowl and garnish with fresh coriander and serve it with white rice or steamed rice.
Serving suggestions
Lahori chicken is very well go with steamed white rice and jeera rice as well as it is served with roti, naan, and bread, etc.
