So, I always try to share the simplest way to make a recipe at home. it is a crowd-pleasing dish that is creamyhealthy and absolutely delicious. If you’re a fan of sauce then this recipe produces a plenteous amount of sauce. Just ask any of the non-vegetarian the first choice of non-vegetarian is a  Butter Chicken.  When we go to any of the restaurants with my friends and family most of the time we commonly order non-vegetarian course items is butter chicken. This recipe is super simple and quite fast to make.  This recipe is quick if you use a pre-roasted chicken from your grocery shop. When I heard the name of butter chicken for the first time I just pictured that chicken is swimming in butter but then I tasted butter chicken in the restaurant it was like a party in my mouth means it tastes absolutely delicious and creamy. Then I tried this butter chicken recipe at home. 2-3 times I  failed In it but after 2-3 trials I succeed to make creamy and delicious butter chicken recipe. In the butter chicken recipe normally use chicken tights or chicken breast. but I use chicken breast for making butter chicken recipe.

This post is about how to make butter chicken at home with yummy, creamy and rich taste. Butter chicken is totally flavored with yogurt and spice marinated. And the chicken sauce is absolutely delicious ( It is rich butter with tomato-based sauce). butter chicken is also called murgh makhani.
Butter chicken is an Indian dish, in which grilled chicken (tandoori chicken) cooked in rich creamy and smooth tomato-based sauce with special Indian spices. The butter and Indian spices these two ingredients make a delicious chicken and Chicken is one of the richer protein sources and popular white meats.

How To Make Butter Chicken

To make authentic and restaurant-style butter chicken
  • First, we need to marinate chicken with roasted in the oven for 30 minutes.
  • Next cook buttery tomato, cashews, and other garam masala and make a fine paste for gravy.
  • In another pan add butter and chopped green chilies, puree and chicken mix well and cook and finishing with fresh cream.
  • Finally, garnish with fresh cream and coriander.  
What Spices Used In Butter Chicken
Indian spices give the delicious taste to butter chicken .spices may include
  • Green cardamom.
  • Black cardamom.
  • Cinnamon.
  • Cloves.
  • Coriander powder.
  • Pepper.
  • Bay leafs 
Steps To Make Delicious Butter Chicken At Home
  1. Marinate chicken.
  2. Grill chicken/cook chicken.
  3. Chicken gravy (sauce).
  4. Final recipe.

Ingredients To Make Butter Chicken At Home

INGREDIENTS
400gms of boneless and skinless chicken breast(chopped in small pieces).

Ingredients for first marinate
  • 2tsp lemon juice                                         
  • 1tsp red chili powder (adjust as per test).
  • Salt (for taste).
Ingredients for the second, marinate
  • 1 cup curd.
  • Salt (for taste).
  • 1tbs red chili powder.
  • 1 ½ tbs ginger garlic paste.
  • 1tsp garam masala powder.
  • 1tsp mustard oil.
  • ½ tsp coriander powder.
 Ingredients for gravy
  • 3  Butter cubes.
  • 1 tbs oil.
  • 2tsp ginger garlic paste.
  • 2 cinnamon, 4-5 green cardamom, 5 cloves, 1 black cardamom.
  • 25gms cashew nuts.
  • 4 tomato chopped.
  • 1 cup chopped onion.
  • Salt (for taste).
  • 4 tsp red chili powder.
  •  3tsp Fresh cream
  • Coriander (for garnish)
Steps In Detail To Make Butter Chicken Recipe

First, marinate chicken process
In a nonmetallic bowl add raw boneless chicken, lemon juice, salt, and red chili powder and mix well. (marinate for 10-15 minutes)

Second, marinate chicken process
Add curd, salt, red chili powder, ginger-garlic paste, garam masala powder, coriander powder and a little bit of mustard oil in marinated chicken and mix well.

Marinated chicken roast in the oven for 30 minutes

Butter chicken gravy
Heat butter in a pan add a little bit of the oil then add cloves, cinnamon stick, green cardamom, black cardamom, and roast this all garam masala for sometime after that add ginger garlic paste, chopped onion, roughly cut tomato, cashew nuts, salt mix well and cook for 10 minutes after that remove all the mixture in a blender make a fine puree.

Final recipe
 Heat some butter in another pan and add chopped green chili, puree and let it cook for 10 minutes after that add salt, a little bit of sugar, roasted chicken and cook it for 4-5 minutes and finishing with fresh cream and chopped coriander.

Garnish with fresh cream and coriander


Serving Ideas :
 butter chicken tastes great with roti, naan, jeera rice or plain basmati rice.


Tips To Make Restaurant Style Butter Chicken At Home

I would like to share some tips to make super simple, creamy, healthy, absolutely delicious and perfect restaurant-style butter chicken recipe at home.
  1. The first time the marinate the process is for 10 to 15 minutes.
  2. The second time the marinate the process is for 3 to 4 hours (refrigerate).
  3. Roast marinate the chicken in the oven, tandoor or grill pan ( it depends on availability).
  4. The rich taste comes from cashews or almonds, cream.
  5. Instead of heavy cream, you can use coconut milk.
  6. Use fresh spices to make butter chicken it really does make a difference, It tastes nice.


Tools Used To Make Best Butter Chicken Recipe At Home :

Use handheld blender
 Hand-held blender is more convenient than the put sauce through the blender. Through the help of a handheld blender, we can make a paste or blend right in the pan also.

Use the non-stick frying pan
Use a non-stick pan for cooking and for frying the chicken.

Use glass bowls for mixing
use the glass bowls for mixing your marinate, spice mix and as well for spicing the chicken.
