  • 1 onion ( chopped ).
  • 1 tomato ( chopped ).
  • 1 ½ teaspoon of ginger garlic paste.
  • 1 green chili.
  • 1 cinamon stick.
  • 3 to 4 black pepper powder.
  • 2 bay leafs.
  • ½ teaspoon cinamon stick.
  • 2 green cardamon.
  • 1 teaspoon of coriander powder.
  • 1 teaspoon of red chili powder.
  • 1/3 teaspoon of turmeric powder.
  • ½ tablespoon of freshly chopped coriander.
  • 1 tablespoon of oil.
  • Salt ( as per taste ).
  • Water ( as needed ).

The chicken keema recipe is made with minced chicken and it is a very simple, easy, and time-saving recipe perfect for late-night dinner. Now we are going to see how to make the chicken keema recipe at home.

  • Firstly take one pan and keep it on medium flame, once the pan is getting hot then add oil to it.
  • After that add whole spices like cinnamon stick, black pepper powder,  bay leaf, green cardamon, and cumin seeds and saute it for a minute.
  • Then add onion and fry the onion on a medium flame for  3 to 4 minutes until the onion turns light brown in color. After that add green chilies and ginger garlic paste and mix it and fry all the ingredients for a minute.
  • Now add chopped tomato and cook until oil separates from mixture.  After that add coriander powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt ( as per taste ) and mix all the ingredients well.
  • Then immediately add minced chicken and mix it well and then add 1 cup of water and cook it for 10 to 15 minutes on medium flame by covering the lid.
  • After 10 minutes your chicken keema recipe is ready to serve. Remove it to a serving plate garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot with roti or naan.
