 Ingredients needed to make the recipe

  • 250 grams of boneless and skinless chicken breast chunks.
  • 2 teaspoon ginger garlic paste.
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper powder.
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice.
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour.
  • 1 ½ teaspoons Korean chili powder.
  • 2 teaspoon soy sauce.
  • 1 mustard paste.
  • 1 ½ teaspoon honey.
  • 2 to 3 dry chilies.
  • ½ teaspoon fresh coriander ( finely chopped ).
  • Salt ( as per taste ).
  • Oil ( deep fry ).
  • ½ tablespoon sesame oil.

The process to make a Korean fried chicken recipe

  • Firstly take chicken chunks in a bowl and add lemon juice, black pepper powder, 1 teaspoon of ginger garlic, and salt (  as per taste ).
  • Mix all the ingredients and keep aside for 10 to 15 minutes by covering the lid.
  • Now take the bowl and add all-purpose flour and mix it well.
  • Now heat the frying pan and add oil to it to fry chicken chunks. Once the is hot then add chicken chunks one by one and fry it on medium until it turns golden brown in color.
  • Now add the rest of the chicken chunks in oil and fry it. Now remove the chicken chunks from the plate and keep the fried chicken chunks aside for 5 to 6 minutes.
  • After that take Korean chili sauce in a medium bowl and then add soy sauce, mustard paste, and honey and mix it well and keep aside.
  • Then heat the pan on medium flame and add sesame oil, once the oil is getting hot then add dry red chilies and ginger garlic paste and saute it for 2 to 3 seconds then add the Korean chili mixture and stir and mix it.
  • Then add fried chicken chunks and salt ( as per taste ) and mix it well for 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Your Korean fried chicken is ready to serve, you can garnish this spicy and tasty Korean fried chicken recipe with sesame seeds or chopped spring onion.
