 Ingredients needed to make Thai basil chicken recipe 

This recipe requires very few ingredients and the ingredients you need to make this recipe can be easily found at any grocery shop.

  • 250 grams chicken breast pieces.
  • 1 cup basil.
  • 1 cup finely chopped onion.
  • 1 ½ teaspoon finely chopped garlic.
  • 1 teaspoon red chili flakes.
  • 2 teaspoon of honey.
  • ½ tablespoon of soya sauce.
  • 2 teaspoons of oyster sauce.
  • Oil ( as required ).
  • Salt  ( as required ).

The process of making Thai basil chicken recipe

  • Firstly take one small bowl and in the bowl  combine soya sauce and oyster sauce and mix it well and keep aside.
  • Now take chicken breast pieces and clean them and then make small pieces and keep them aside.
  • Heat the pan on medium flame and add oil ( as required ) and once the oil is getting hot then add onion and garlic and stir fry them for 2 minutes  add chili flakes and chicken mix it and cook it for 5 minutes by stir frying the chicken.
  • After that add basil it and mix it with chicken and cook it for 2 minutes now add honey, sauce mixture,  salt ( as required ) and mix it well, and cook it by covering the lid for 4 to 5 minutes on medium-low flame.
  • After 5 minutes switch off the flame, and your Thai basil chicken recipe is ready to serve, remove it from the serving plate and serve it hot with plain rice.
