Healthy And Diet-Friendly Chicken Salad Recipe

There are many healthy chicken recipes perfect for those who love different styles of chicken recipes and everyone knows that salads are healthy and diet-friendly recipes for those who are trying to lose weight but they like chicken recipes then there are various types of recipes like chicken stir fry,  chicken marinated and grilled chicken breast, chicken soups, Thai green curry chicken recipe, chicken and vegetable soup,  chicken salad, etc. but in this post, I am going to share chicken salad recipe and chicken salad recipe is very simple and easy to make and the ingredients list is too short and easily available in the market. In my family, everyone loves chicken recipes so I always try to make new and different types of chicken recipes and this recipe is perfect for my family.  The chicken salad recipe is a quick recipe means we can make this recipe in 15 to 20 minutes it is made with grilled chicken breast pieces, some veggies,  some spices, fresh cream or curd, and low-fat mayonnaise. The chicken salad recipe is a healthy and diet-friendly recipe made with grilled chicken pieces,  some veggies ( celery, cherry tomatoes, cabbage, green apple ) , spices powder, low-fat mayonnaise, and curd.  While making the chicken salad recipe we have to grill the chicken breast by applying some spices and then make small pieces of chicken breast and add the chicken pieces to a bowl after that add your favorite veggies, low-fat mayonnaise, and curd and mix it well.

  • Chicken breast: To make this non-vegetarian salad recipe we need fresh and good quality chicken breast.  while making chicken salad we have to grill the chicken and then have to cut it into small pieces.
  • Veggies:  veggies are important in any salad and even in a chicken salad you can add veggies of your choice like celery, green apple,  cherry tomatoes, cabbage, raisins, etc.
  • Fresh cream, curd, or mayonnaise:  For a creamy taste use fresh cream, curd, or low-fat mayonnaise.

 Method  1 :

Ingredients  needed to make the recipe

  • 2 chicken skinless and boneless chicken breasts.
  • 1 tablespoon oil.
  • 1 teaspoon of ginger garlic paste.
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika.
  • 1 cup celery ( finely chopped ).
  • 1 small cup of green apple ( chopped ).
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes  ( chopped  ).
  • 1 red onion ( finely chopped ).
  • 1 small cup cabbage ( chopped ).
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise ( low fat ).
  • ½ tablespoon curd.
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder.
  • ½ teaspoon cumin powder.
  • 1 teaspoon honey.
  • Salt ( as per taste ).
  • Coriander ( chopped ).

Step-by-step process to make the recipe

  • Firstly take one large bowl and add oil, paprika, ginger garlic paste, salt ( as per taste ), and chicken breast mix it all together and keep it aside for 8 to 10 minutes by covering the lid.
  • Now heat the pan on medium flame and then add the chicken breast pan with oil and grill both sides of the chicken breast remove the chicken breast from the pan and let them cool.
  • Now make the small pieces of chicken breast and add in a large bowl and then add celery, green apple, cherry tomatoes,  onion,  cabbage, mayonnaise, curd, coriander powder, cumin powder, honey, and salt ( as per taste  ).
  • Mix all the ingredients well and garnish with chopped coriander, your diet-friendly and healthy chicken salad recipe is ready to serve.

  • In this, in both methods, I have used honey because honey gives a sweet taste to the recipe and honey is a healthy option than sugar.
  • In a salad recipe, you can add your favorite veggies.
  • You can use chicken without marination and you can also roast or cook it and cut it into small pieces and use it in a salad.
  • For the creamy texture of salad, you can also use fresh cream.
  • You can enjoy this chicken salad recipe as a meal who are trying to lose weight.
  • Grill, roast, or cook the chicken until it is fully cooked.
  • In this salad, you can add red grapes for more taste.
  • Most people use dry fruits like almonds, pista, and raisins in the chicken salad recipe.
