Ingredients needed to make this recipe

  • 2 skinless and boneless chicken breasts (chunk-size pieces ).
  • 2 teaspoons of curd.
  • 2 teaspoon ginger garlic paste (1 teaspoon  for marination  and 1 teaspoon for main recipe )
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder.
  • ¼ teaspoon cumin powder.
  • ½ teaspoon red chili powder.
  • 1 bunch of spinach
  • 2 or 3 green chilies (lengthwise sliced ).
  • 1 medium size onion ( chopped  ).
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala powder.
  • ½ tablespoon fresh cream.
  • 1 tablespoon oil.
  • Water ( as required ).
  • Salt ( as per taste ).

Step-by-step instructions to make palak chicken recipe

  • Firstly take chicken breast chunks and add them to a large bowl in the chicken chunks add curd, ginger garlic paste, red chili powder, cumin powder, and salt.
  • Mix all the ingredients well and keep them aside for 10 minutes by covering the lid.
  • Now take one pan and place the pan on medium flame on gas and heat the pan and then add oil in it, add marinated chicken in it, and stir fry continuously for 6 to 7 minutes or until chicken is cooked.
  • Now remove the chicken from the pan and keep it aside.
  • Then take one pot and add 2 to 3 cups of water and add roughly chopped spinach and cook the spinach for 5 to 6 minutes on high flame.
  • Once the spinach is cooked then separate it from the water and let the spinach cool.  now add the spinach to the blender and make a fine paste and keep it aside.
  • Again heat the same pan and add oil to it, once the oil is getting hot then add ginger garlic paste and saute it for a minute immediately add chopped onion and stir for 2 minutes until the onion turns golden brown in color. after a few minutes add green chilies and saute them for a minute then add spinach paste, chicken chunks,  fresh cream, garam masala powder, and salt ( as per taste ) and mix all the ingredients well and cook it for 7 to 8 minutes.
  • Your palak chicken recipe is ready to serve.

  • If you like more spicy chicken recipes then you can add dried chilies along with fresh green chilies.
