Ingredients Needed To Make Chicken Manchow Soup
- 1 Chicken breast (cooked and shredded).
- 1 ½ tablespoon ginger garlic paste.
- 1 small cup carrots(finely chopped).
- ½ small cup of cabbage.
- 1 small cup spring onion( green and white part chopped).
- 2 teaspoon black pepper powder.
- 1 ½ tablespoon soy sauce.
- 2 teaspoon tomato sauce.
- 1 tablespoon Cornflour(slurry).
- 4 cups Chicken stock.
- Salt to taste.
- 1 chicken breast.
- 1 chicken stock cube.
- 1 teaspoon garlic.
- Salt to taste.
- Noodles (fried for toppings)
Step By Step Instructions To Make Chicken Manchow Soup
There are some recipes they are no need for the introduction and
chicken manchow is one of those. Step by step instructions given below to make a homemade version of chicken manchow soup.
Step 1
Prepare chicken stock
- Firstly, make nice chicken stock.
- Take one pot of cold water and add chicken breast, garlic paste, salt to taste and chicken stock cube.
- Stir nicely and cook it for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Check the chicken stock after 15 minutes if it is done then drain the chicken stock and separate the chicken breast.
- Shred the chicken breast using a fork and keep aside.
Step 2
Prepare chicken manchow soup.
- Take a soup pot and heat it and add oil once oil is hot then add ginger garlic paste and white spring onion and sauté it for 2 to 3 minutes then add cabbage and carrots and cook it for 4 minutes.
- Add shredded chicken and cook it on high flame for 3 to 4 minutes (stir continuously).
- Then add black pepper powder, soy sauce and tomato sauce stir and mix well.
- Mix cornflour and ½ cup water till no lumps are visible ( corn flour slurry ) and it in soup mixture and stir it and add chicken stock, salt and keep stirring till the soup thickens up.
- Mix the green part of the onion.
- Once the soup thickens, let it simmer for 2 minutes and switch of the flame.
- Chicken manchow soup is ready.

Serving suggestion
- Serve the chicken manchow soup by topping fried noodles individually.
- Serve hot.
