What is pahadi chicken kebabs?
Pahadi chicken kebab is middle east Indian cuisine chicken marinated in Green paste(coriander leaves, mint leaves, green chilies), some tasty Indian spices, and curd and skewed in a skewer and barbecued or grilled. These are small meat chunks that are marinated and grilled or barbecued for delicious taste.

- 500 gm boneless and skinless chicken breast ( thinly sliced)
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder.
- 2 tablespoon mustard oil.
- ½ teaspoon garam masala powder.
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder.
- ½ teaspoon turmeric powder.
- ½ teaspoon pepper powder.
- 1 teaspoon onion powder.
- ½ cup hung curd.
- Salt ( as required).
- Mint leaves ( handful).
- Fresh coriander (handful).
- 3 to 4 green chilies.
- Firstly take all the green paste ingredients and add them in grinder and grind it and make a fine paste ( green paste).
- Take one large bowl and add mustard oil, red chili powder and beat it by spoon after that add hung curd, ginger garlic paste, garam masala powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, pepper powder, onion powder and salt and mix all the ingredients well.
- Now it’s time to add the green paste to the curd mixture and mix it well.
- Keep the mixture aside for 1 hour.
Step 3 Main recipe
- Now it’s time to make kebabs.
- Then take the skewers and fold the chicken skew it on the skewers.
- Repeat the process for all the skewers.
- After that heat, the grill pan and sprinkle some ghee or oil, and cook the chicken on all the sides and until it cooked and grill marks appear.
- Tasty pahadi chicken kebabs are ready to serve
- Sprinkle some chat masala on kebabs and serve it with green chutney.
Ingredients
- Coriander leaves (handful).
- Mint leaves ( handful).
- 4 green chilies.
- 2 teaspoon fresh curd.
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice.
- ½ ginger garlic paste.
- ½ teaspoon sugar.
- Salt ( as needed).
- Combine all the above ingredients in a grinder and grind it and make a fine paste.
- Green chutney is ready.
- These mouth-watering chicken kebabs serve with green chutney , fresh cream or sauce.
