Dragon chicken is a popular Chinese recipe in this recipe chicken breast chopped in strips size and marinated in flour batter and then fry it and lastly, flavor with sauces and serve it.

- 250 grams boneless and skinless chicken breast ( cut into strips).
- 3 ½ tablespoon all-purpose flour.
- 2 teaspoon cornflour.
- 1 ½ teaspoon black pepper powder.
- 1 egg.
- ½ teaspoon red chili powder.
- Pinch of turmeric powder.
- Water ( as required).
- Salt ( as required).
- Oil ( for deep frying ).
- 1 medium-size onion( sliced).
- 1 green and 1 red bell pepper ( cut into strips ).
- 1 teaspoon honey.
- 15 to 20 cashew nuts ( fried ).
- 1 ½ tablespoon red chili sauce.
- 1 teaspoon dark soy sauce.
- 2 tablespoon tomato sauce.
- 4 to 5 dry red chilies.
- 2 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste.
- 1 ½ tablespoon oil.
- Sugar for taste.
- Salt ( as required).
Ingredients for garnish
- 1 small cup spring onion (chopped).
- ½ teaspoon sesame seeds.
- Take a large bowl and add all-purpose flour, cornflour, black pepper powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder, Salt ( as required), and egg mix it well and then add water slowly and make a thin consistency of batter then add chicken strips and mix it well
- And keep it aside for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Then heat oil in frying pan on gas and once oil is hot then add marinated chicken strips one by one and fry it until it fully cooked and lightly golden brown. Note:- fry the chicken on medium flame.
- Remove the chicken from the pan and keep it aside.
- Again heat the pan add oil once the oil is getting hot then add ginger-garlic paste and sauté it for a second then add dry chilies and after that add onion, green and red bell papers and cook it for 3 to 4 minutes.
- After that add all sauce and honey one by one and mix it well.
- Then add fried chicken and fried cashews and mix it well.
- Now add sugar and salt for taste and sprinkle some water mix it well and cook it for 4 to 5 minutes on low flame.
- Dragon chicken is ready to serve.
- Remove it in serving plate garnish with chopped spring onion and sesame seeds and serve it.
- You can also add cornflour slurry to the sauce.
- Fry the chicken on medium-high flame.
- You can replace red chili sauce with red chili powder.
