It is a crispy recipe because in this recipe chicken is grilled until it turns crispy and crunchy and lastly flavored with some sauces. The chicken chili recipe is a very simple, easy, and quick (time-saving) recipe made with some simple ingredients that are easily available at any grocery shop. The chicken chili recipe is an Indo-Chinese recipe made with chicken pieces, capsicum, ginger garlic paste, and some sauces. This recipe is a very simple, easy, and time-saving recipe that tastes tangy, sweet, and crispy.

  • Chicken: chicken is the main ingredient that is needed to make a flavourful and crunchy chicken chili recipe. in this recipe, I have used boneless chicken breast pieces.
  • Green capsicum: green capsicum is also an important ingredient needed to make the recipe. use fresh roughly chopped capsicum for making a chicken chili recipe.
  • Sauce: sauces are also important ingredients and we need red chili sauce, tomato sauce, and soya sauce to make the recipe.
  • Ginger garlic paste: ginger garlic paste gives a flavourful taste to the recipe.

Ingredients and process to make chicken chili recipe

Now we are going to see what are ingredients needed to make this recipe and the process we want to follow to make this recipe.

Ingredients  needed to make chicken chili recipe

  •        250 gms boneless chicken breast ( small pieces ).
  •        1 cup of green capsicum ( roughly chopped ).
  •        1 onion ( roughly chopped ).
  •        1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste.
  •         ½ tablespoon of tomato puree.
  •         2 teaspoons of tomato sauce.
  •         1 teaspoon of soya sauce.
  •         ½ teaspoon of red chili sauce.
  •         ½ tablespoon oil.
  •         1 to 2 teaspoons of lemon juice ( for marination ).
  •         Pinch of black pepper powder ( for marination ).
  •        Salt ( as per taste ).

The process to make a chicken chili recipe

  • Firstly we have to marinate the chicken so firstly we will marinate the chicken. Now take chicken pieces in a bowl and add lemon juice, salt ( as per taste ), and black pepper powder mix it and keep it aside for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Now keep the pan on medium flame and add oil to it, once the oil is getting hot then add onion, ginger garlic paste, and green chili and fry it for 4 to 5 minutes.
  • Then add marinated chicken and fry the chicken on medium flame until it turns crispy. after that add tomato puree, tomato sauce, soya sauce, red chili sauce, and salt ( if needed  ) and mix all the ingredients well and cook the recipe for 5 to 6 minutes by covering the lid and switching off the flame.
  • Now flavourful and crunchy chicken chili is ready.
  • Remove the chicken chili to the serving plate and garnish with fresh chopped spring onion and serve it with bread, roti, and naan.

Tips to make a chicken chili recipe

  • In the chicken chili recipe, you can skip one tomato sauce or tomato puree.
