Now we are going to see how to make restaurant-style coconut curry chicken and what are the ingredients needed to make this recipe.

ingredients needed to make coconut curry chicken recipe
main ingredients
- 250 gms chicken breast ( roughly chopped ).
- ½ cup crushed coconut for paste.
- 1 cup coconut milk.
Ingredients for marination
- 2 teaspoons of lemon juice.
- ½ teaspoon of cumin powder.
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder.
- ½ teaspoon turmeric powder.
- Salt ( as per taste ).
Ingredients for paste
- ½ cup crushed coconut
- Half tomato ( roughly chopped ).
- 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste.
- ½ tablespoon fresh coriander.
Other ingredients
- 1 teaspoon garam masala.
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder.
- 1 finely chopped onion.
- 1 tablespoon oil.
- Salt ( as per taste ).
- Water ( as needed ).
The process to make coconut curry chicken recipe
- Firstly take roughly chopped chicken in the bowl add and then add lemon juice, cumin powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt ( as per taste ) and mix it well and rub the cumin powder, turmeric powder, and red chili powder and now cover the chicken and marinate for 20 minutes.
- Now take crushed coconut, roughly chopped tomatoes, coriander, and ginger garlic paste in a blender and blend it and make a fine paste and keep aside.
- After that take one pot or skillet and heat it on medium flame then add oil and wait until it gets hot. Now add onion and saute it for 2 to 3 minutes or until it turns slightly golden brown.
- Then add marinated chicken to it and saute it for 4 to 5 minutes. After that add garam masala powder, and red chili powder and mix it well.
- Now add coconut paste and coconut milk and mix it well.
- Then add 1 cup of water and salt ( as per taste ) and mix it well and cover the recipe and cook it for 8 to 10 minutes or until the chicken gets soft.
- Make sure your chicken curry is thin because we are making curry-type recipes.
- After 8 to 10 minutes switch off the flame and remove it to a serving bowl garnish with freshly chopped coriander and serve it with roti or chapati.
