The chicken burger is a delicious snack recipe which can be tasted by all the age group of people and it is a real treat for your taste buds.
I made this delicious chicken burger with simple ingredients that are easily available at any local supermarket. Nothing is complicated when you are making chicken burgers it is easy to make. As well as the homemade chicken burger is always better and healthier.

Ingredients to make a chicken burger
Ingredients for burger patties
  • 2 bread slices.
  • 1/3 cup milk.
  • 500 gram boneless and skinless chicken breast (roughly sliced).
  • 2-3 green chilies (chopped).
  • ½ teaspoon paprika.
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper powder.
  • Salt (as per taste)
  • 1 egg.
  • 2 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste.
  • 3 tablespoon cornflour.
  • 1 teaspoon Soy sauce.
  • ¼ teaspoon mustard paste.
Ingredients for the special sauce
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise.
  • 2 teaspoon fresh cream.
  • 2 teaspoon tomato ketchup.
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper powder.
  • Iceberg lettuce.
  • Ingredients for coat the patties
  • All-purpose flour.
  • Beaten egg.
  • Crushed corn flakes
other ingredients
  • oil.
  • 4 burger bun.
  • 4 cheese slices.
  • tomato ketchup.
  • Veggies slices ( tomato slices, onion slices, iceberg lettuce).

Step by step process to make a chicken burger
Process for patties
  1. Firstly soak the bread slices in 1/3 cup milk.
  2. Then add chicken breast in blender and run the blender for 2 minutes and then add soaked bread and again run the blender for minute and after that add chopped green chilies, paprika, black pepper powder, Salt (as per taste), egg, ginger garlic paste, cornflour, Soy sauce, mustard paste and mix it well for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Then take out in a bowl and keep it in the fridge for 30 minutes.
  4. To make a special sauce take one bowl and add mayonnaise, fresh cream, tomato ketchup, black pepper powder, Iceberg lettuce and mix it well (keep aside).
  5. After that remove the mixture from the fridge and grease your hands with oil and make patties of mixture.
  6. Then keep your patties in flour-dusted tray coat with flour and then coat with beaten egg and then coat patties with crushed corn flakes.
  7. Heat the pan and add oil in the pan once the oil is hot then add chicken patties in the oil and fry till patties turn a golden color (fry it on a medium flame for 5 to 6 minutes each side).
  8. Then take out patties from the oil (keep aside).
How to serve the chicken burger
  1. Firstly cut each bun horizontally into two parts and toast lightly on Tava.
  2. The lower half of bun apply tomato ketchup and spread the tomato ketchup nicely then place the iceberg lettuce leaves over it.
  3. Then place few tomato slices and onion slices and sprinkle some salt and black pepper powder over the slices.
  4. and place the 1 cheese slice and then place 1 chicken patty and spread the special sauce on patty place some onion slice and cover it with remaining top half part of bun and press it lightly.
  5. Repeat the above process for more burgers.
  6. The chicken burger is ready to eat.

Some other serving ideas for a chicken burger
  • Make your chicken burger more spicy by topping grilled poblano peppers, pepper jack cheese, and salsa.
  • Give country flair to your chicken burger with BBQ sauce, grilled onions and crushed cheese.
  • It also tastes delicious with simple ketchup and mustard.
